- AIS is a collection, structure and presetting of standard Sap reporting.
- AIS forms an integrated part of the SAP R/3 System (online reporting)
As of SAP Release 4.6C, the Audit Information System program concept has been changed from the former menu technique (Transaction SECR) to a role-based maintenance environment (Transaction PFCG).
Installation Recommendations (SAP):
1. Transaction PFCG in the development system
Copy the composite SAP_AUDITOR role including the associated single roles in a customer namespace (the namespace contains everything except for SAP*).
Example: SAP_AUDITOR …………..->….. Z_AUDITOR
2. For authorization roles, maintain the organizational levels.
3. For authorization roles, manually maintain any authorizations that might still be open.
4. Generate the authorization roles (a profile is generated).
5. Once tested, transport the roles created to the production system.
6. Call up the Transaction SU01/SU10/PFCG in the production system.
Assign the composite role to the user(s).
